The buzz about the recent awards show has been intense, particularly after host Geoff Keighley posted a mysterious image of a strange statue. The question has now been solved. Larian Studios is creating a completely new Divinity game.
Titled simply Divinity, the game was presented with a bold trailer that included intense imagery, from a figure engulfed in flames to an orgy and the very descent into chaos.
A Different Direction
Anyone hoping for Divinity Original Sin 3, this is not that. Larian clarified that a direct sequel to its critically acclaimed RPGs is not being worked on now.
That said, the developer referred to this new Divinity as a continuation of the main series. This distinction hints that the team is likely designing a faster-paced experience as opposed to another tactical title. At this moment, we can only guess, as only a teaser video is available.
